Music and Individuality

With the population increasing all over the world places like China, and Africa who are now experiencing economic booms in their backyards are now under going some serious changes in their youth culture, going from a unified group to seeking their own individuality. What other form of subjective medians can one awaken their own inner self in, other then music? I believe music was our first language, we understand it so well, it allows us to make sense of our emotions much simpler then any other language. Even in adulthood with all the knowledge we acquire in our lives music still comes natural to us, the understanding gives us a sense of mastery, soothes and comforts us relieving ourselves from stress.

Why do people take narcotics and other stress relieving drugs, when they can just listen to some music they happen to enjoy. Are humans losing their natural musicality? I don't know, but i always appreciate all kinds of new music. I stumbled upon this underground music producer, who makes ambient beats fused with electronic, and hip-hop, he goes by the name "Flying Lotus". Here is a listen for y'all who love music
